3Dmark05
Ja està aquí la nova aberració dels gràfics, vull dir: ja ha sortit la nova versió del benchmark més conegut. 3DMark05 s’explica per les nova versió del PS i l’aprofitament total dels DirectX 9.0.
Els gràfics de la demo són espectaculars, brillants, increïbles i en algun cas exagerats. Però, com sempre, fins que trobem jocs que aprofiti els DirectX 9.0c amb normalitat potser passen 2 anys. Però si puc afirmar amb rotunditat que els últims DirectX han revolucionat el món gràfic en el camp de l’aproximació a la realitat; i no a l’espectacularitat lumínica com eren els de la versió 8, aquesta versió practicament només va aportar l’aigua realista.

A continuació la depressió, m’explico: les últimes targetes de Nvidia (GeForce 6800 Ultra i GT) són les més potents respecte les de ATI (X800 XT i PRO). I clar, no en tenen prou i han decidit fer el benchmark amb la tecnologia SLI (2 targetes gràfiques en paral·lel en ports PCI Express). Així que aquesta puntuació potser arriba a la societat d’aquí molt temps.
